When you walk across a one way street and you KNOW it's one way

Why do you look both ways?

    Habit.

    Hell, at least they are looking and not walking out into traffic expecting everyong to see them and stop. And then cussing YOU because they walked out in front of you at the very last second and expected you to be able to stop.

    (Can you tell this has happened to me...more than once)
